Who really built the pyramids?

Published: July 2, 2022, 3 p.m.

Everyone knows that the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids, right? Well, everyone is wrong! Scientists have proved that the bronze tools to which ancient Egyptians had access cannot have cut the stone blocks used to build the pyramids to the fantastically exacting standards we still see to this very day.

How did the Egyptians move the blocks\u2013some weighing as much as 50 tons!\u2013over a thousand miles from their quarries? How did they raise these massive stones (some 2.3 million of them!) to build the great pyramids?

Bronze, the strongest metal the Egyptians had at the time, is terrible at cutting stone. So how did the ancient Egyptians do it? Did the ancient Egyptians build the pyramids? The boys put on their thinking hats and test various theories.
