From Theory To Practice - March 4, 2021 - Adjusting a $10 Wide Iron Condor
With the market selling off today, a number of our positions are feeling some pain. So we use the bulk of the show to address the specific strategies that need our attention. This includes our Short Put in PTON and our Wide Iron Condor in BIDU. Interestingly, since our Iron Condor is a bit wider, it behaves more like a Short Strangle than would a tighter Iron Condor. As a result, we’re more aggressive with how we manage the position, but we still want to be mindful to leave ourselves a range of profitability between the short strikes.
