Stories About Our Supposedly Mentally Disordered Children
This is the most important show I have ever done!\n We have accepted the psychiatric story that virtually all of our children are mentally ill or disordered. Tonight we examine the section of the DSM that describes the many so-called disorders of childhood including Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, Learning Disorders, Attention-Deficit Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder and Reactive Attachment Disorder. The mental heath industry has successfully fostered the idea that drugs are often, if not always, the superior method of "treating" these problems and have turned our children into legions of little addicts. We have as a society convinced our children that they are failures if they are not super achievers in school and do not make the "right" college. We have \xa0successfully implanted the idea in millions of youngsters that any and all of the adults who are not their familiars \xa0are potential kidnappers, sexual perverts and otherwise dangerous to their interests and to be avoided at all costs. Increasingly our children see their society as a hostile and dangerous place to live in. Most importantly, we will examine the truth of the story now suffocating America's young and what we might do about it.
