Published: July 8, 2021, 7 a.m.

Vertical integration happens when a real estate business extends its operation within its value chain. This means a service that used to be outsourced is now in-house. Among the services can be construction, design, development management, leasing, asset and property management, etc.

Today, we speak to Abraham Ng\u2019hwani of Abranova. Abraham shares how he vertically integrated his business with his construction background. Abraham says by being vertically integrated, that made him and his company better prepared for a downturn than a typical developer. Abraham explains that having the capacity to be nimble and create a different revenue stream for the company is an advantage for his company.
