Many of us in the syndication space get our start by doing single-family, duplexes and triplexes, and even small multifamily deals. It\u2019s easy to feel like this was a waste and wish we had found syndication sooner. However, Maureen Miles, our guest today, believes that starting small was the best thing that could have ever happened to her. By being involved in every aspect of smaller deals, she learned more than she could have bargained for. This not only gave her the confidence to do larger deals but also meant that she could step in and fix any aspect that was not going to plan.
