Psalm 46\n\n\nFor the Music Director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song.\n\n\n1 God is our refuge and strength,\n\xa0 \xa0 a well-proven help in trouble.\n\n2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed,\n\xa0 \xa0 and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;\n\n3 though its waters roar and foam,\n\xa0 \xa0 though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah\n4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,\n\xa0 \xa0 the holy dwelling place of the Most High.\n\n5 God is in the midst of her; she will not be moved;\n\xa0 \xa0 God will help her in the early dawn.\n\n6 The nations roared; the kingdoms were moved;\n\xa0 \xa0 He uttered His voice; the earth melted.\n7 The Lord of Hosts is with us;\n\xa0 \xa0 the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah\n8 Come, see the works of the Lord,\n\xa0 \xa0 who makes desolations in the earth.\n\n9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;\n\xa0 \xa0 He breaks the bow and cuts off the spear;\n\xa0 \xa0 He burns the chariot in the fire.\n\n10 Be still and know that I am God;\n\xa0 \xa0 I will be exalted among the nations,\n\xa0 \xa0 I will be exalted in the earth.\n11 The Lord of Hosts is with us;\n\xa0 \xa0 the God of Jacob is our refuge.
