b'Drixxon Kyser is the creator of The Circulate App and cofounder of AMA-Zentech. Circulate is an aggregate of black-owned businesses that helps you find local businesses to support, which can be searched and sorted by category. \\n\\nDrixxon built the app and AMA-Zentech alongside his sister Olivia, currently a Rutgers University student. He\\u2019s only 19 years old but has already dealt with his fair share of challenges in the business world, including a controversial situation with Sean Combs, aka P Diddy.\\xa0\\n\\nThis Episode\\u2019s Heavy-hitter\\u2019s:\\n\\nThe idea for circulate app was spawned through a conversation between Drixxon and his sister about the murder of George Floyd. They were discussing whether or not he would have been murdered had he been at a black-owned business, which then transitioned into a conversation about how difficult it is to find black businesses to begin with.\\n\\nAt age 15 Drixxon and his family were homeless. This was a tough time when Drixxon wasn\\u2019t yet thinking about business, but it pressured him to want more from life.\\n\\nOne challenge that Drixxon runs into as a young black entrepreneur is other black executives giving him \\u201ctough love\\u201d as a way of \\u201cprepping him for the white man upstairs.\\u201d The problem is, there are many times when the conversation ends there and they don\\u2019t continue to keep in touch.\\n\\nDrixxon recommends working with family as co-founders, but conditionally. You have to remove emotion from the working relationship, and when they do flare up, you need to decompress quickly and get back to it.\\n\\nWhen P Diddy invested in a company with the same name and mission as Drixxon, the founder contacted and tried to \\u201clittle bro\\u201d him by offering him an advisory mentorship and the chance to meet Sean Combs.
