OF THE GOSPEL

The Gospel Is Good News.

Matthew 9:35 \\u201cJesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.\\u201d

The word \\u201cGospel\\u201d literally means \\u201cGood News.\\u201d  The two words summarize the whole story of Jesus, and the message that He desires to have an eternal relationship with each person.

The Gospel Refers to the Power of God\\u2019s Gift.
\\nRomans 5:15 \\u201cBut the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!\\u201d

Romans 6:23 \\u201cFor the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.\\u201d
