One of Disney's most controversial decisions was to create the "Legends" continuity, effectively erasing decades of Star Wars stories from the official canon. Since then, every official story told is canon: comics, books, TV, video games, YouTube, VR... anywhere! Is this a good thing, though? Maybe, maybe not! No one wants to miss something crucial buried in the pages of a book when they go to see a movie - but fans of other media get to know their stories matter as much as the movies now.
How do you feel about it? Is a shared continuity a good thing, or do its consequences outweigh its benefits? Let us know using the links below!
