Feb 2014 dinner attended by Flynn, but not Halper, who was a long-term FBI informant. FBI has been less than transparent about this chronology. Halper met with -- Aug 11 and 12 2016, and then opened Crossfire Hurricane; did not open an investigation into General Flynn. Halper told a whopper of a lie: “I was at a dinner [where he had not been] and Svetlana latched on to Gen Flynn and taken a cab with him to a train, went with him to London; all to everyone’s shock and surprise.” None of this was true at all. From these highly intentional lines began an investigation into General Flynn. Then Svetlana got calls from four different media outlets, 28 Feb and 1 March of 2017: all of them knew her name and where she lived; all asked her about her relationship with Gen Flynn—whom she’d met once. The media had been briefed by Halper. . . . Last week, Svetlana’s name was raised; finally, it’s been made public that Halper was a liar that led to the turmoil we know as Russiagate.
