What The $1.9 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Bill Means For Our Economy

The Senate voted 50-49 Saturday, to pass President Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus relief package. The bill includes expanded federal funding for pandemic response programs, $1,400 stimulus payments for many Americans, money allocated for reopening schools, extending enhanced unemployment and more. Associate Editor at The Wall Street Journal John Bussey joins to discuss the big-ticket items within the stimulus package, concessions made by both Democrats and Republicans, how we can expect the economy to be impacted and how soon Americans can expect to see stimulus checks. This Wednesday, coronavirus mask mandate and restrictions were lifted in Texas. Individual business owners are making their own decisions with many still requiring employees and customers to mask up.
