Some North African countries are busy targeting doctors and journalists for speaking out about their government’s handling of coronavirus instead of focusing on fighting the virus. Egypt has been struggling since before the pandemic hit, and now its government’s crackdown on media and activism about coronavirus is further stressing the country.
