Fox News Rundown Extra: Who Is A Bigger Threat To Our Election Security: China Or Russia?

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe created an uproar in Washington recently when he told lawmakers that his office will be scaling back in-person briefings on election security to Congress. Instead they are providing written reports, in hopes to cut back on leaking. Democrats, who have blamed the Trump administration in the past for downplaying election threats, especially from Russia, immediately slammed the decision.  While Ratcliffe's decision created the typical political sparring, it also raised questions about the 2020 election and what countries like Russia and China are doing to interfere.  On the FOX News Rundown earlier their week, Fox News Contributor and former CIA Station Chief, Daniel Hoffman joined host Jessica Rosenthal to discuss election security, what our intelligence community is doing to combat foreign interference and why he thinks both parties need to put the politics aside when it comes to protecting our democracy. Hoffman revealed some insightful information about the goals and tactics of countries like Russia, who have been accused of meddling in our prior elections. He also discussed how American defense agencies are working to stop their efforts. The original conversation was too long and we could not include all of it in our original segment. On The FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversation with former CIA Station Chief Daniel Hoffman.
