Simple, Unhurried Word of God - Complaining/Thankfulness (Podcast 291)

This is another episode in a series that I\u2019ve been doing where I share a bit of truth and the simple, unhurried word of God.\nThe purpose is to give you a tool that helps you and your family to meditate on God\u2019s word. You can listen as soon as you get up, before bed, if you\u2019re feeling anxious, during quiet time with the kids, or having a hard time sleeping, whatever works for your family!\nI like to share some simple truths before we dive into the main topic verses. I\u2019m trying to do it in a way that is easy for the kids to understand as well!\nSometimes it\u2019s hard to slow down. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.\n\xa0\nIsaiah 55:10, 11\n\xa0\nThe rain and snow come down from the heavens\n\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0and stay on the ground to water the earth.\nThey cause the grain to grow,\n\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0producing seed for the farmer\n\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0and bread for the hungry.\nIt is the same with my word.\n\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0I send it out, and it always produces fruit.\nIt will accomplish all I want it to,\n\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0and it will prosper everywhere I send it.\n\xa0\nJoshua 1:8\nKeep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
