Along with the fun and adventure comes the struggle and challenges. Annette Whittenberger is no stranger to this wild ride.
A military veteran and spouse, Annette has seen first hand the devastation and destruction humans can cause. Serving as a chemical officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, she's witnessed things no person should ever see. After 17+ years, she traded her combat boots for Converse sneakers in order to stay home and be a mom to her teenagers.
You can leave the military, but the military doesn't leave you. Alone and struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, Annette turned to blogging to help her cope and heal from her time as a soldier.
