\u200b\u200b3am is when I do all my best worrying. I realize that is not a good or healthy thing, but as someone who has battled anxiety, those middle of the night worries are a real thing! Anxiety is on the rise in kids and in adults, which is why we are talking about it for the second week in a row.
This week I am joined by Courtney Devich who is a mom of three and the author of the book Mama\u2019s Got Anxiety, but it\u2019s not Gonna Steal my Joy. This book is real, vulnerable, relatable, and sometimes even funny as Courtney shares her real life struggles with anxiety and finding joy in the Lord, no matter what her emotions are telling her.
Today we are talking about some of the lies that moms believe about themselves when they experience worry or anxiety, how we can combat those lies, what to do when you\u2019re up in the middle of the night and your brain is going a million miles an hour, and how we can reclaim our joy no matter what situation we are in.
