While there\\u2019s reason to celebrate the drop in case numbers, U.S. citizens are wary of the next wave. There are two main concerns at the moment: booster shots and vaccine mandates. The FDA recommended boosters for seniors and immune-compromised people no sooner than six months after their first shot, but questions remain about which one is most effective. While some are focused on preventative measures, others are focused on what certain measures prevent: i.e. the freedom to choose whether or not to get vaccinated.
