Republican Secretaries of State in key battleground states are doing Donald Trump's bidding by moving swiftly to make mail-in voting as difficult as possible. Kentucky's GOP Sec. of State Michael Adams is trying to add restrictions to absentee ballot requests to force voters to risk their health to vote in person, despite his widely-praised use of no-excuse vote-by-mail in the June primary, and he is proposing to change the rules to reject ballots that do not arrive by Election Day, regardless of postmark. Adams' absurd excuses for the proposed restrictions on vote-by-mail reveal that this is much more about voter suppression than safety or efficiency. In Ohio, GOP Sec. of State Frank LaRose has barred elections officials from offering more than one single secure drop-box per county for depositing Vote-by-Mail ballots, citing the Trump Campaign's lawsuit in Pennsylvania to block the use of secure drop-boxes. Tuesday brought state primary elections in Minnesota, Georgia, Wisconsin, Vermont and Connecticut \u2013 and lots of problems with costly new computerized voting systems, especially in Georgia.
