On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 It's Super Tuesday midterm election primaries, with few noteworthy reports of problems with voting systems, as of airtime, in Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota and California. Some previous state primaries are still undecided and headed to recounts. In Pennsylvania, a recount continues in the Republican U.S. Senate primary between two non-resident multi-millionaires, TV doctor Mehmet Oz (a citizen of Turkey) and hedge fund CEO Dave McCormick, despite McCormick's concession. In Texas, two high-profile Democratic primary run-off races will be recounted, including infuriating background on the race between progressive Jessica Cisneros and conservative Rep. Henry Cuellar, separated by just 281 votes. In gerrymandering news, Florida's Republican state Supreme Court allowed GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis' U.S. House map to be used, even though it blatantly violates the state constitution's prohibition on maps that diminish the ability of minority voters to elect their chosen candidate. In Louisiana, a federal judge blocked the state GOP's U.S. House map, ruling it violates the constitutional rights of Black voters. New reporting reveals at least 17 confirmed incidents of Republican election insiders in several states, in the wake of the 2020 election, breaching proprietary computerized voting systems, copying the sensitive software, and then releasing it to unauthorized individuals or the public. At least 11 of the breaches took place in Michigan, where state authorities are now working to secure voting systems and gather evidence in a criminal investigation, including into whether the widespread breaches of election system security were coordinated.
