'BradCast' 6/7/2016 (MSM misleads, declare Clinton nominee; Jonathan H. Adler on 'Baptists, Bootleggers and E-Cigs')

We usually try to avoid talk of elections on election days, but the AP, NBC, CNN and all the rest in the corporate media gave us little choice today, even as millions of voters go to the polls today in CA, NJ, NM, ND, SD and MT. Last night, just after we got off air, Associated Press decided to declare Hillary Clinton had 'clinched' the Democratic nomination. Their reporting was based on conversations with unpledged Super Delegates who do not actually cast a vote in the nominating contest until the end of July at the Democratic National Convention. So, a word or two today on the amazing disservice those news organizations have done to voters (not to mention the Clinton and Bernie Sanders campaigns, the DNC and American democracy itself) with their inaccurate and misleading misreporting. Then, we're joined by Jonathan H. Adler, professor of law at Case Western Reserve University, to discuss the strange bedfellows who support the onerous new FDA regulations on life-saving vaping (e-cigarette) technology. As Adler explains in his study on 'Baptists, Bootleggers and E-Cigarettes', Democrats and supposedly anti-tobacco advocates are currently strange bedfellows with Big Pharma (which hopes to keep control of the smoking-cessation nicotine industry) and even Big Tobacco itself, which also supports the new FDA regulations -- which vapers argue may kill the industry, not to mention an untold number of Americans along with it.\xa0 Finally, our latest 'Green News Report' in another very busy 'BradCast'!...
