On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 A new pretend documentary by convicted rightwing election fraudster Dinesh D'Souza demonstrates the lengths to which Donald Trump's supporters will go to justify his sore loser attempt to steal the 2020 Presidential election. (D'Souza\xa0 pleaded guilty to federal election fraud crimes back in 2014 and was pardoned by Trump in 2018.) Today we debunk a number of absurd false claims made by D'Souza and discredited GOP 'voter fraud' fraudsters True The Vote in their million-dollar propaganda film, '2000 Mules,' now duping wingnuts across the country. The film alleges that publicly available, anonymized cell phone geo-location data 'proves' that thousands of so-called ballot 'mules' were paid by shadowy, still-unnamed groups to collect illegal ballots for Biden and deliver them into ballot drop boxes in swing states that Trump lost.\xa0 If it sounds absurd, that's because it is. The data is inaccurate only to about 100 feet, and sweeps up everyone with a cell phone who routinely passes by such high-traffic areas. Much of the film's allegations are outright fabrications, and their allegations are presented with no proof. Also today: A white Republican woman in Arizona received a slap on the wrist for intentionally committing actual voter fraud in 2020 by voting twice and then lying to investigators. The absurdly light sentence highlights deep racial disparities in sentencing of black and brown voters who mistakenly vote while ineligible, like Crystal Mason of Texas, a black women sentenced to five years in prison for voting on a provisional ballot, which was never counted, while on probation.
