Marcello Di Cintio on his Literary Pilgrimage to Iran

Marcello Di Cintio\xa0is a Canadian writer. He won the 2012\xa0Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing\xa0for his book\xa0Walls: Travels Along the Barricades.\xa0The award was handed out on March 6, 2013 at the\xa0Writers' Trust of Canada's annual\xa0Politics and the Pen\xa0in\xa0Ottawa. Marcello was born in\xa0Calgary,\xa0Alberta\xa0where he currently lives\xa0with his wife, Moonira, and son, Amedeo.

We met recently to discuss his literary pilgrimage to Iran, which he\xa0wrote about\xa0in his book,\xa0Poets and Pahlevans,\xa0a Journey into the Heart of Iran.\xa0
