\\nThe medical spa industry is seeing consistent growth, but it is still dealing with the exact compliance issues it was fifteen years ago. Alex explains where the compliance issues stem from and why this is happening. As an attorney, Alex is pushing for a compliance benchmark where consumers will feel comfortable going to any med spa.
\\n99% of medical spas follow the current regulations. It\\u2019s only a small handful of spas that aren\\u2019t compliant, and it tends to fall to the fact that they don\\u2019t know any better. Unless they\\u2019ve initially trained in plastic surgery or dermatology, most MDs, RNs, and Nurse Practitioners aren\'t aware that medical aesthetics is an industry they can not only succeed but thrive.
