Andrew Lawler is a journalist and an author with an interest in history and\narchaeology. In his latest book he looks at the history of excavations in\nJerusalem. Andrew starts at the beginning in the 1800s and looks at many of the\ncharacters and excavations that have helped define the city.\nAndrew Lawler is author of the newly released Under Jerusalem: The Buried\nHistory of the World's Most Contested City. A long-time journalist, he has\nwritten about archaeology for more than two decades for a host of magazines.
