Growing up in Louisiana, Diane Ferlatte heard a lot of stories from people all around her. Later, while raising a foster child, she began telling stories in an attempt to replace time in front of the television. Little by little, her storytelling career began. This story tells of a thirsty crow who has a dilemma. She has found water, but she can’t reach it. Her solution is clever and teaches that problems sometimes require a little wit to solve them.
