Change My Mind

Welcome to The Apple Seed! Some time filled with stories for you and your family. Since 2013 we’ve been bringing you tall tales, personal tales, fairy tales, historical tales and more. All kinds of tales, from all kinds of tellers.

Have you ever seen a meme or a booth that says, “Change my mind?” Perhaps, “The Star Wars Prequels are the best. Change my mind,” or, “It's a crime to wear socks to bed. Change my mind.” Point being: we daily encounter strong opinions, or may face the firm opposition of, “Change my mind.” Perhaps we are even the one who feels that way! Today’s collection of stories explores ways in which people change their minds. Storytellers Kevin Carr, Joan Stockbridge, and Syd Lieberman persuade us to think in new ways, and to discover truths that humility might teach us. But one thing is for sure: The Apple Seed is the best. Change my mind.

On today's episode, enjoy the following:

“The Poor Gaiteiro” by Kevin Carr from King of the Pipers (2:22)

“Manjiro” by Joan Stockbridge (16:41)

“Dear Father” by Syd Lieberman from The Dead Sea Scrolls (35:27)

Radio Family Journal: "Reut" by Sam Payne (49:32)
