With many high profile data breaches exposing customer data, as well as a lot of uncertainty about how consumers\\u2019 data is exactly being used, there have been moves both from a regulatory perspective (such as GDPR in the EU and CCPA in the State of California) to provide greater protection for consumers and their data.\\n Yet, we also see that when customers have trust in a brand to use their data well, they are open to providing more information.
