AIB and Advertising go back a long way.
Tanmay Bhat and his motley crew did a video called 'A Tribute To Classic Indian Ads' featuring the a cappella group Voctronica, back in 2014.
Cut to 7 years later, AIB doesn't really exist. But the brains that ran the show still do, albeit behind hyperactive individual IG accounts or clickbait-prone YouTube channels.
I think with the CRED films, starring the affable Rahul Dravid to the raunchy [yes, that's how I'd like to describe him] Jackie Shroff, the writers have subverted what Indian advertising has done in the past. And that's pretty exciting for what lies ahead.
