Little Roseberry Thorne is a spunk girl who is eager to be the best at any trade or profession she sets her mind to, unlike her parents: Jacoby Thorne, a failed wizard, and Margo Thorne, an amateur cook. When an old, fat man tells Roseberry a rude comment, she sets off to prove him wrong with a simple spell, but after blowing up her pet dragon, Pocket, into a balloon with the failed attempt, she is thrown into a quest where more mistakes and mix-ups await.
