Roger Nygard\xa0is perhaps best known for his acclaimed documentary\xa0Trekkies, about the most obsessive fans in the Universe. Nygard\u2019s previous documentary\xa0The Nature of Existence, addressed the subject of the world\u2019s philosophies, religions, and belief systems. Nygard has also directed\xa0television series\xa0such as\xa0The Office\xa0and\xa0The Bernie Mac Show. His work as a film editor includes\xa0Grey\u2019s Anatomy,\xa0The League, and Emmy-nominated episodes of\xa0Who Is America?\xa0and\xa0Veep\xa0and\xa0Curb Your Enthusiasm. Nygard has made several other award-winning films, including the car-salesman cult-film\xa0Suckers, and a profile of UFO fanatics\xa0Six Days in Roswell, and now the documentary\xa0The Truth About Marriage, accompanied by\xa0The Truth About Marriage\xa0book. Most recently he co-produced and edited\xa0The Comedy Store,\xa0a documentary about the comedians who came though this world-famous LA club, as well as editing scenes from\xa0Borat 2 (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm).
