Korean Q&A - Why is “coconut" 코코넛, not 코코넡?

Coconut is written in Korean as 코코넛, the Internet is written as 인터넷, and robot is written as 로봇, all with ㅅ at the end instead of ㅌ. Why is ㅌ, which is roughly more similar to “t” than ㅅ, not used in these words? Hyunwoo answers this question in today’s Q&A video.
