Introducing Cheryl and Chris Moore, the Co-Founders and inventors of Harmony Turbines, a company that was founded with the idea to create a simple, efficient and affordable residential wind turbine that could meet the needs of most homeowners.

Founded in August 2020, Harmony Turbines have the goal of developing a wind turbine solution that can achieve mass adoption in the residential marketplace by addressing the deficiencies that are often overlooked by current wind turbines.

Chris Moore, Co-Founder of Harmony Turbines, is no stranger to the Clean Energy R&D space. Since 1998, he has worked with many teams and organisations to create innovative solutions for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

From his experiences, he has seen first-hand the issues with the current wind turbine models and is determined to create a more effective solution.

So what are the disadvantages of conventional wind turbines and why are Harmony Turbines looking to innovate and improve upon the existing models?

Although wind energy is a renewable, greener option of energy, it too still has its limitations. For example, many turbines pose a threat to the surrounding wildlife. Flying birds and bats whose habitats or migratory paths pass through turbines can be injured or killed if they fly under the blades of a turbine.

What\u2019s more is that many turbines come with an expensive upfront cost and can, in some cases, be unreliable/unpredictable.

\nWith Chris and Cheryl\u2019s solution, they are looking to address these problems with Harmony Turbines and make clean, green energy more efficient and cost-effective.

Their goal is simple: they want to help make the world a better place. And, in their view, it starts with giving more people the \u2018power\u2019 to change the world.
