Technical Diving - Where did it come from? Nitrox not compatible with Diving & Diving after Jaws!
In our latest episode we have a great chat with a true Scuba Diving Pioneer, Michael Menduno AKA M2 (M Squared) the man responsible for the phrase Technical Diver, First used in the Aquacorps Magazine that he started back in the late 80s early 90s M2 tells us about those early days and how it was all hushed up and kept in the closet until he decided he wanted to tell the world about it and started Aquacorps
He started his Diving career the day after Jaws was released, it didnt put him off and he is now one of the most respected Scuba Pioneers, Editor in Cheif of Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) Online Magazine In-Depth, contributing Editor to Divers Alert (DAN Europe) Staff Writer for DeeperBlue.com, XRay Magazine and so many more
This is a fascinating chat and really was not long enough, we hope to be chatting with M2 again soon, we are particularly interested in those Early Days of 'pushing the envelope' starting to use the mixed gases, no computers and gear that was literally cobbled together
