One of the sad ironies of living in the last days is that we can let our preparation for the Last Day slip and we can become lukewarm in our Christian living. Our Lord, who bought us at a price, keeps us ready for his return and gets us active in service with his parable of the sheep and the goats where he meets us as Judge, King, and Neighbor!
