People of Color in Space Exploration

A time capsule of sorts. Aerospace Engineering Ph.D. Student Naia Butler-Craig joined Robin last year in the wake of America's return to human spaceflight while the nation took to the streets to protest the extrajudicial killing of black Americans\u2013\u2013events that mirrored the civil rights movement and the Apollo program of the late 1960s. Taped in May of 2020, Naia and Robin reflect on current events and whether the space industry can be an equitable place for people of color.
