#83 - Adriana Romero-Olivares: Soil Microbes
Today's storyteller is Dr Adriana Romero-Olivares. She is a microbial ecologist, a professor at New Mexico State University, and she studies microbes in soil! She studies how microbes in soil respond to climate change and how that impacts ecosystems. We talk about her career, her research projects, how volatile organic compounds (aka VOCs) impact microbes around them, and so much more. I need to apologize in advance because the audio on the episode is subpar and inadequate and does not do Adriana justice at all. I did my best to clean it up, but it's not perfect.
