Born in the midst of war and change, my grandmother was a dreamer.\\xa0 She went to college to study astronomy.\\xa0 Before she finished school, she\\u2019d visited five of the seven continents of the world.\\xa0 (This is a feat I have yet to accomplish, even though as a young woman in the modern age, I have far more autonomy.)\\xa0 And yet she dreamt of traveling farther.\\xa0 Of going to the moon and beyond.\\xa0 Of traveling through dreams.\\xa0 She wondered about the worlds that must exist under the sea and below the surface of the earth.
