He began appearing on Australian television shows in the mid-1970s, such as\xa0Homicide,\xa0Matlock Police\xa0and\xa0All the Rivers Run. He is best known to international audiences for his role of Wez in the 1981\xa0science fiction\xa0action film\xa0Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior[2]\xa0and Bennett in the military action film\xa0Commando.[3]\nAfter\xa0Mad Max 2, Wells began appearing in Hollywood films, such as science fiction comedies\xa0Weird Science\xa0(1985)[1]\xa0and\xa0Innerspace\xa0(1987). In the 2000s, Wells acted in the television series\xa0Power Rangers Time Force\xa0portraying the series' main villain\xa0Ransik.
