We just held our tenth session of our new national security class Technology, Innovation and Modern War. Joe Felter, Raj Shah and I designed a class to examine the new military systems, operational concepts and doctrines that will emerge from 21st century technologies \u2013 Space, Cyber, AI & Machine Learning and Autonomy.\n\nToday\u2019s topic was The DoD and Modern War. With Mich\xe8le Flournoy, former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy joining us, we also assigned her recent article in Foreign Affairs, \u201cHow to Prevent a War in Asia\u201dand CNAS report \u201cSharpening the US Military\u2019s Edge: Critical Steps for the Next Generation\u201d
