\nMelodee Rockmore is not your ordinary singer-songwriter, nor is she a \u2018wannabe-popstar,\u2019 she is a performer with a passion. Born in the UK to a Cypriot family, she was brought up in a quiet town in Hampshire where the closest thing to the Mediterranean is Costa Coffee.
Using the stage as an outlet for her frustrations and emotions, she has shown the drive and ability to achieve big things by already gaining airplay and press in the UK, USA, and across Europe\u2026including a front cover spread in the Cyprus Daily Mail \u2018Seven\u2019 \u2013 a space previously occupied by Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz.
Combining her cultural routes with her love of rock and pop, Rockmore has evolved her own style, described by many as a \u2018breath of fresh air.\u2019 With powerful, melodic vocals combined with rocking guitars, funky bass lines and hard-hitting drums, the music is pop-rock with a beautiful twist. Her influences are wide spread: Rock, pop, folk, traditional Greek music, and hip-hop are all in Melodee\u2019s collection, but bands and artists such as No Doubt, Queen and Michael Jackson are on constant rotation on Rockmore's CD player.
