Back in 1980 CBS wanted to keep their studios in Hawaii open after the end of Hawaii 5-0. Their solution was to commission a new series set in Hawaii about a former Naval Intelligence Officer turned Private Investigator. After a glorious 8 season run the show ended but has recently been mentioned as a  series that will get a reboot. Before this reboot comes out I wanted to go through every episode of the original Magnum, P.I.. For the first episode of the show and podcast I invited someone who has never seen the show before so he could have a different take on a series than is very close to my heart.
