This week I chose 2 classic authors' stories adapted for radio by CBSRMT in 1977. First, The Bisara of Pooree by Rudyard Kipling, which takes place in India and it involves a magical blind fish. Followed by The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne, it centres on a group trying to escape the US during the civil war, after a dramatic escape they are carried out to sea to a strange island, full of prizes and traps.
