Well, we're finally into the section of the book I had not yet read, and unexpectedly, Olamina is reunited with one of her family whom she had long thought to be dead. I feel really bad because Marc has really been put through it, but he's really so insufferable here. Oof, he gets on my NERVES. But yeah, the people that she bought him from are really the scum of the earth and I have a fantasy that she can go and blow the fucking place up at some point (after getting the kids out, of course). I wish.
