These chapters go from some incredibly high highs, to some incredibly low lows. We have the successful resolution of the slave rebellion, both rescuing (some but not all) of the Dara and Agon, while also destroying the city-ships the Lyucu would have used to invade Dara. But we also have a horrific, drug-fueled murder of a shipful of slaves at the hands of enraged and frightened Lyucu, steered by the maniacal Cutanrovo.
