Singer Nellie McKay\u2019s songs \xa0hearken to pre-Elvis pop and maybe even Tin Pan Alley,\xa0and are offered with charm and\xa0intimacy. She has\xa0also released a whole album of Doris Day songs and a record of 60s covers, in addition to her 2004 splash debut, Get Away From Me and appearances\xa0in Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
