JJJJJerome\xa0Ellis describes himself as \u201ca stuttering, Afro-Caribbean composer, poet, and performer.\u201d His last album,\xa0The Clearing, was a brilliant mix of sax, electronic music, and storytelling, featuring his own, stuttering voice. But his new project doesn\u2019t involve speech \u2013 though it is inspired by prayer.
