An awesome way to add value in any way is to demonstrate what you know to others that can benefit from what you share. You can give suggestions that could greatly improve or enhance the perspective of the person on the receiving end. Once someone is exposed to your knowledge it can really impact people if what you share is helpful.
It's a good thing to -at least- be ready to offer your knowledge wherever you go. Then you will be known as the person who's an expert in that area. Over time, people will begin to trust you when you are consistent with what you bring.
