Travelling back in history to Egypt in 1918 we explore the life and music of Sheikh Imam Issa, one of the most prominent revolutionary artists of the twentieth century Arab world. We discuss the political turmoil and historic events that Sheikh Imam engaged in his music, especially since he joined his efforts with those of street poet Ahmed Fouad Negm.
