In Episode 19 of Sitting In, I had the chance to chat with Rosie Frater-Taylor, a UK based songwriter and guitarist who has been taking social media by storm since the release of her latest single ‘Better Days’ in October.

Blending the sound of folk, jazz and world music, Rosie’s sound gives a fresh offering that is inspired by the likes of Becca Stevens, Pat Metheny, George Benson and Joni Mitchell. Her latest single ‘Better Days’ has something for everyone: beautifully crafted melodies, infectious rhythms, sophisticated harmony and even a soaring guitar/scat solo in the middle!

Currently in her final year studying jazz guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Rosie is about to release her second album, her most accomplished offering yet, showcasing her growing abilities and confidence as a complete artist.
