Living The Dream, Greg Willard, June 3, 2018

Published: June 4, 2018, 3:33 a.m.

Most of our listeners\xa0don't know Greg Willard, and for good reason.\xa0 Like many of us, Greg flies a bit under the radar, leveraging General Aviation as a wonderful enabler of so many non-aviation goals.\xa0 Whether it is for business or pleasure, Greg sees the real value of using GA as a time machine.\xa0

However, Greg's a little different than your average private pilot, as he has earned the good fortune to own and fly\xa0two beautiful planes, a Cessna Corvallis TT and an Aviat Husky.\xa0 How he came to own these two planes and his experiences flying them is a fun story and raises several questions.\xa0\xa0How does he decide which one to fly?\xa0\xa0Does he let one mechanic work on both planes, or does he\xa0split the work based on familiarity and experience with each model?\xa0 Does his spouse prefer one over the other?\xa0 Does he?\xa0 \xa0 Marc had the same questions and Greg was happy to answer them\xa0with the passion and candor we expect from a fellow aviator.\xa0 Listen and\xa0learn\xa0what it's like to own and fly two very different planes.\xa0 As for\xa0how to decide which one to fly, I'm going with Eeny, Meany, Minie, Moe.\xa0
